We are pleased to announce that SCORE has opened a new chapter at City Campus in Statesboro! SCORE helps small businesses achieve their goals through our mentoring and training. That success not only affects the business owner, but also the communities they live and work in, and the larger American Economy. For additional information about SCORE, please visit their webpage.
Before we can provide business counseling, the U.S. Small Business Administration requires all clients to register with VBOC and complete the Request for Counseling form. This form will act as our Confidentiality and Code of Conduct Agreements. All client information is held in strict confidence. This request for counseling is FREE and CONFIDENTIAL!
VBOCs are directed by the Small Business Act (Title 15 U.S.C. sec 637 (b)) to participate in the Defense Department’s Transition Assistance Program. Since 2013, the Boots to Business program has trained over 50,000 transitioning service members, Reservists and National Guard members, and military spouses. The VBOCs also counsel and mentor approximately 60,000 veteran clients each year.
