Curriculum Information

All College of Business Administration students begin as Pre-Business majors (except Information Systems majors which are designated as Pre-Information Systems). After completing the Pre-Business Hit List, a student should complete a Change of Major form to declare as a B.B.A. major.

Effective Immediately:

• Effective Fall 2007, prior to taking ACCT 2101, all students must complete Area A with at least a grade of a "C" in the following courses: MATH 1232, CISM 2530, and BUSA 1105.
• Effective Fall 2007, all grades earned will be included in the calculation of your grade point average. Your grade point average prior to Fall 2007 will only include the last grade for repeated courses. Therefore, students wanting to repeat courses to improve their grade point average should do so no later than Summer 2007.
• Effective Spring 2007, all students who have completed 80-semester hours of coursework must contact the Student Services Office to complete a graduation clearance audit.
• The 12 free elective hour requirement may be fulfilled with any combined business and/or non-business courses.
• CISM 2530 is the new requirement in Area F for students beginning COBA Fall 2005 or later.
