Organizations sponsored by the Department of Marketing are available to students majoring in business disciplines. These organizations allow students to become actively involved in professional development activities and to gain leadership and administrative skills in a variety of officer roles.
Since its inception in 1937, the American Marketing Association (AMA) has remained committed to the advancement of excellence in the field of marketing. It was this commitment that fostered the establishment of Alpha Mu Alpha in Spring of 1981. Alpha Mu Alpha is the national marketing honorary for qualified undergraduate, graduate and doctoral marketing students, and marketing faculty.
The American Marketing Association is the professional association for individuals and organizations who are leading the practice, teaching, and development of marketing worldwide.
Delta Sigma Pi is a professional fraternity organized to foster the study of business in universities; to encourage scholarship, social activity and the association of students for their mutual advancement by research and practice; to promote closer affiliation between the commercial world and students of commerce; and to further a higher standard of commercial ethics and culture and the civic and commercial welfare of the community.
