Hyunju Shin is an assistant professor of marketing. She received her Ph.D. and MS from the University of Alabama and a BA from Sookmyung Women’s University in Korea. Before coming to Georgia southern, she taught at McNeese State University for two years and has been invited for lecture at Pole Universitaire Leonard de Vinci, Paris, France and Universidad Libre Seccional Barranquilla, Barranquilla, Colombia. Her main research interests are in the area of relationship management in retailing and services, brand crisis management, and social media marketing. Her work has been published at Journal of Services Marketing,Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, and Supply Chain Management: An International Journal. She has received a number of teaching and research awards including a Highly Commended Award from the Supply Chain Management: An International Journal.
