Open COBA Faculty Positions 

Georgia Southern University, a member of the University System of Georgia, is the largest and most comprehensive center of higher education in the southern part of Georgia. A residential university serving approximately 16,000 students, Georgia Southern's hallmark is a superior undergraduate experience emphasizing academic distinction, excellent teaching, and student success. Founded in 1906, the University offers 120 degree programs at the baccalaureate, master's, and doctoral levels through seven colleges. The 675-acre campus is located in Statesboro, a community of approximately 30,000 residents, 50 miles northwest of historic Savannah and 200 miles southeast of Atlanta.

Within this setting, the College of Business Administration serves approximately 3,000 undergraduate majors in the fields of accounting, economics, finance, logistics and intermodal transportation, management, marketing, and regional economic development. Additionally, there are over 300 graduate students enrolled in the Georgia WebMBA, Master of Business Administration, Masters of Accounting and Master of Science in Applied Economics programs. The College is divided into four main academic units: the Department of Finance and Quantitative Analysis; the Department of Management, Marketing, and Logistics; the School of Accountancy; and the School of Economic Development.
