The Center for Economic Education is sponsored jointly by the Georgia Council on Economic Education and the Georgia Southern University College of Business Administration. It is affiliated with the National Council on Economic Education and the Georgia Council on Economic Education. The Center actively supports Georgia Southern University's role as a regional university that serves the surrounding region in a variety of capacities, by serving K-12 economic educators and their schools in nineteen counties in southeast Georgia. It accomplishes this through offering academic economics courses, seminars, workshops, curriculum development support, and materials distribution. The Center also offers consulting services to administrators, curriculum directors, and teachers in public and private school systems for the promotion and enhancement of teaching economics in grades K-12. The Center's service region includes the following nineteen counties: |
