Mark A. Yanochik has been an Associate Professor of Economics at Georgia Southern University since Fall Semester 2006. He received the Ph.D. degree in economics from Auburn University in 1997. Professor Yanochik also holds a M.S. from Auburn (1993) and a B.S. from Kennesaw State University (1989). His research interests are in Economic and Financial History, and Financial Markets and Institutions. Before completing his doctoral studies, Professor Yanochik worked in the Department of Finance and Economics at Georgia Southern as a visiting professor. Prior to returning to Georgia Southern in 1999, he taught at Kennesaw State University (1997-1999).
