Department Honors
The Department of Management, Marketing,
and Logistics annually recognizes its outstanding students. In Logistics
and Intermodal Transportation, Delta Nu Alpha sponsors an "Outstanding
Senior" award as well as a number of scholarships. Management recognizes
the "Outstanding Senior" with the Gaster Lumber and Hardware
Company award, the Human Resource Management Award to an outstanding senior
in human resource management, and the "University Tire Award"
for an outstanding senior in Entrepreneurship and Small Business. In Marketing,
the "K-Mart Award" is given to an outstanding senior in marketing.
Marketing also recognizes the outstanding senior in Sales and Sales Management,
a Marketing Service Award to a senior rendering outstanding service to
the discipline plus several scholarships.
University
Honors
Although
COBA does not have a specific honors program, some courses in the department
may be taken as honors courses either in a designated section or through
honors contracts.
