Jacqueline Eastman
Associate
Professor of Marketing
Jacqueline
K. Eastman received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
from the Ohio State University in 1986, majoring in Marketing,
and her Ph.D., majoring in Marketing, from the Florida State
University in 1993. Prior to coming to Georgia Southern University,
she was at Valdosta State University from 1993 to 2007 in
the Department of Marketing and Economics. She also served
as MBA Director from 1995 to 2000.
She has
published three dozen journal articles in journals such as
the Journal of Business Research, Journal of the Academy of
Marketing Science, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of
Advertising, Journal of Marketing Education, and Journal of
Marketing Theory and Practice among others. Her research interests
are in scale development, ethics, Internet strategy, and web-based
teaching.
In terms of service, she has served as the Vice President
for Programs and President for the Association of Marketing
Theory and Practice. She is currently on the Editorial Review
Boards for the Journal of Marketing Theory and Practice and
Marketing Education Review.
Dr. Eastman
has taught Marketing on the undergraduate and MBA level and
is currently teaching online in the Georgia WebMBATM program.
