Dr. Susan R. Williams
Acting Associate Dean of the College of Business Administration

Susan Rebstock Williams is Acting Associate Dean in the College of Business Administration and Professor of Information Systems at Georgia Southern University. She holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration/Information Systems from Oklahoma State University, as well as an M.B.A. and B.S. in Mathematics/Computer Science from Missouri State University. Before beginning her career in academia, Dr. Williams worked for more than thirteen years as a scientific programmer, business systems analyst, and Vice President of Computer Operations for firms in the aerospace, software development, and telecommunications industries. Since arriving at Georgia Southern in 1994, she has been heavily involved in IS/IT curriculum development at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Dr. Williams has co-authored three textbooks on object-oriented software development as well as numerous journal articles and conference proceedings. Her research, primarily dealing with the impact of IT on organizations, has been published in leading journals including Decision Sciences and Communications of the ACM.
