Cleve White is a native of Statesboro and a COBA graduate. In 2001 he became the youngest Nissan dealer and the only African-American dealer in the southeast region. He is a leader in numerous civic and community organizations, including serving as a State Legislature Director for NAIDA and as a member of the Board of Directors for the Averitt Center for the Arts.

In 2003, Cleve was the NAACP recipient of the President’s Award for dedicated services and contributions. Other honors include being named to the National Register’s Who’s Who in Executives & Professionals, nomination to the nation’s 100 largest African-American owned businesses, and selection as one of the Savannah Business Report & Journal’s “40 Under 40 Business Leaders”.
