Michael Odom is a native of Jesup, GA, Odom is a 20 year veteran of community banking, having served in various senior management capacities in community banks. He is currently Principal of Great Oaks Advisors, LLC, a bank management advisory practice, where he advises directors and senior managers in community banks on strategic, compensation, expansion and capital issues. Odom holds a BBA in Accounting from Georgia Southern (class
of 1984). He is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking of the South
at Louisiana State University. He resides in Richmond Hill, Georgia with
his wife, Mary, and their two children, Hunter and Caroline. He is an
active member of Richmond Hill United Methodist Church, President of Coastal
Conservation Association of Georgia, and is involved in numerous community
and charitable organizations. He is an Associate Member of the Georgia
Bankers Association, having chaired its Community Bankers Committee, and
facilitates its President/CEO and Operations/Finance Roundtables. He also
represented Georgia on the American Bankers Association Community Bankers
Council. |
