Mrs. Melinda Bergbom

Melinda Bergbom is a 1974 Magna cum Laude graduate of Georgia Southern College, with a B.A. in Spanish and History. She began her career in International Trade Finance with a precursor bank to Bank of America, and continued on to administer the import and export programs nationally for Siemens Energy & Automation, a division of Siemens, AG. She re-entered the banking field with Chase Manhattan Bank and successfully completed Credit and Corporate Finance training courses with that institution. After many years as a Corporate Banking Executive with Bank of America in Atlanta, she and her husband, Rob moved back to her home town of St. Augustine. Rob opened and manages the St. Augustine Pier 1 Imports store and Melinda is Vice President of Business Banking with Wachovia Bank, N.A.
