in Accounting |
Accounting is
the language of business. The four year program prepares students
for a wide range of professional careers in industry, finance, government,
and non-profit organizations. The Forensic Accounting Program can
be taken as an interdisciplinary minor in fraud examination and as
forensic accounting concentration in the graduate accounting program.

This major is
designed to give the student broad knowledge of economic tools to
provide a foundation for careers in business, economics, finance,
or law. This major has the following areas of emphasis : BA

in Finance |
The study in
this area develops familiarity with the institutions and instruments
within our financial system and an understanding of the problems financing
business activity. This major has the following areas of emphasis

in Information Systems |
The Information
Systems degree combines knowledge of leading edge information technologies
with an understanding of the ever changing needs of today's dynamic
business environment. While a fundamental understanding of information
technology is a cornerstone of the degree, an equally important and
distinguishing element of the IS degree is a solid foundation in basic
business functions. This major has the following areas of emphasis
: General
Information Systems, Accounting Information Systems, Business Intelligence,
Electronic Commerce, Enterprise Resource Planning Systems, Enterprise
Security, Logistics Information Systems, and Technology Entrepreneurship.

in Logistics |
Transportation
companies, industrial firms and government agencies are all looking
for the qualified graduate with training in the field of physical
distribution. This program prepares students by providing general
knowledge of the field of business and supporting course work in the
areas of logistics, transportation, and marketing. The program also
offers internships. This major offers the following emphasis: General
Logistics.

This major emphasizes
the integrative nature of the management discipline in planning, organizing,
directing, and controlling contemporary profit and non-profit organizations.
Students can major in entrepreneurship/small business management,
human resource management, operations management, or an emphasis without
a major. This major offers the following areas of emphasis: General
Management, Entrepreneurship/Small Business, Human Resource Management,
and Operations Management.

in Regional Economic Development |
Provides students
with a unique appreciation of the particular motivations of business
firms and problems that firms face in succeeding in the marketplace.
