Welcome From Dr. David Shepherd

Welcome to the web site of the Center for Excellence in Sales & Sales Management. I have some exciting news to share with you! First, it is finally official, we are the newest approved Center in the College of Business Administration at Georgia Southern University! I am really excited about this approval as it demonstrates that we are dedicated to taking our already strong sales program to a new level. In short, the approval of our Center demonstrates that our university is committed to building a world-class sales program.

What this means to our students is a constantly improving sales program designed with one goal in mind, giving them all the tools they need for success in a sales career. Over the past year you have probably noticed some changes happening in our sales program. For example, you may have noticed that we have added an Advanced Selling course to our curriculum and upgraded our sales lab. Over the next year you will see more improvements as we begin the process of building a new sales lab complex.

If you are one of our selling students, or considering a sales concentration, please stop by my office (COBA 3339). I would like to meet you and tell you more about the Center and our sales program. If you are an alumni of our sales or marketing programs I would love to hear from you. Perhaps we can arrange a visit so you can share career advice with some of our students.
