Get into Global Business at the Georgia Southern College of Business

What Newsweek.com’s business school rankings mean for Georgia Southern

In a recent roundup of the best business schools around the world, Newsweek.com detailed what it takes for students to make it in the modern global business market. Top schools only take the best of the best, and by focusing your attention on a program that adheres to these standards, you can be sure you’ll get an exceptional education.

Better School, Better Opportunities

Attending a well-ranked business school gives you a chance to learn from the best in the industry. Some of the biggest names in business give lectures and workshops that offer insight into the methods they used to make it in a competitive market. These tools can be invaluable when you graduate and begin to work toward your own goals. Networking opportunities with these same business people may open up exclusive internship opportunities or even lead to job offers that you wouldn’t have access to at other schools.

Tools for Success

Climbing the ladder in the world of business requires a solid educational foundation and practical experience. The best schools offer a broad scope of programs, each tailored to a specific discipline within the business industry. These institutions give you the chance to advance as far as you want to go before graduating, up to and including earning a Ph.D. A hands-on curriculum structure that moves beyond textbooks and teaches you how to apply what you learn in the real world is a must if you want to get the experience you need to meet your career goals.

Going Global

With the Internet continually increasing the scope of business, a global business education is becoming more desirable. The Newsweek.com article makes mention of the benefit of business degree programs that focus on skills specific to global business, including the opportunity to study abroad and familiarize yourself with the nuances of how companies operate around the world.
