Georgia Southern Offers Lowcountry MBA Students In-State Tuition Rates

STATESBORO, Ga. – March 29, 2013 – Georgia Southern University invites Bluffton and Hilton Head Island area professionals to learn how they can earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree while attending classes in Savannah and pay in-state tuition . A drop-in, MBA information session will be held Tuesday, April 9 from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn located at 1575 Fording Island Road.

During the open house, MBA advisors from the College of Business Administration will be available to answer questions about the program, the border county fee waiver for Beaufort and Jasper counties, entrance exams, the application process and online degree options.

The College of Business Administration at Georgia Southern has offered an MBA degree for more than 40 years. The college is ranked by the Princeton Review as one of the best in the country, and its MBA program is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB). The degree program can be completed at the Coastal Georgia Center in Savannah or online – an advantage to those busy with careers, travel or family commitments.

“The ability to earn an MBA while working full time, running your own business or managing family commitments is something more professionals are interested in today,” said Gordon N. Smith, Ph.D., director of MBA programs. “Qualified Lowcountry residents are fortunate to have an internationally accredited, part-time MBA program in nearby Savannah. The quality of our program justifies your participation. The fact that Jasper and Beaufort county residents may pay the same as in-state residents makes it that much more attractive.”

To reserve your space during the session, contact the MBA office at 912-478-5767 or mba@georgiasouthern.edu.
